Beautystat Universal C Skin Refiner Vitamin C Serum

My Review:

I did not have a good experience with this product. The formula is silicone-based, so it feels very matte, but it’s also gritty because of the vitamin C crystals, and it’s extremely drying. Another issue is that the pump gets air in it easily, which means you have to prime it several times while pumping. On top of all that, the white cast it leaves on my skin is just crazy. So, I don’t understand how it’s marketed as “invisible and sheer on all skin tones.” It’s also fairly pricey, currently at $85 for 30 mL. Now, the addition of vitamin C and green tea is a nice touch, but I can only see this product working for someone with extremely pale and oily skin.

My Rating: 1/3
